US-headquartered Dimension Energy completed the largest third party-owned community solar project in the US, a 44 MW facility in Inyokern, California. The project spanned 130 acres and served over 2,000 residential and commercial subscribers. Backed by $100 million in financing from Silicon Valley Bank, National Bank of Canada, Comerica, and NT Solar, the project also supported renewable energy commitments from AT&T and Crown Castle.Beneficiaries included renters, municipal facilities in Long Beach and Corona, and organizations like Redwood Family Care Network. It provided $18 million in energy savings and eliminated 21,667 metric tons of CO2 annually.
