China-based DAS Solar, a leader in n-type solar technology, has recently celebrated a milestone with the certification of its ‘TÜV Rheinland Witness Laboratory’ in Zhejiang, China. This certification highlights DAS Solar’s commitment to high standards in lab testing and quality control. According to DAS Solar, it has set a world record for the conversion efficiency of large-area TOPCon cells three times within eight months, achieving up to 26.6% efficiency and an open-circuit voltage of 742 mV. Collaborating with the University of New South Wales, DAS Solar aims to boost cell efficiency to 40% using advanced TOPCon, DBC, TSiP, and SFOS technologies. This TÜV Rheinland certification, alongside previous qualifications like CNAS and TÜV SÜD TMP, underscores DAS Solar’s exceptional R&D and quality control, says DAS Solar.
