Community Solar expansion in Illinois

Castillo Engineering and RECON Corporation announced a partnership to develop a 15 MW portfolio of five community solar projects in Illinois. Multiple 3 MW projects, part of the Illinois Shines program, will utilise bifacial solar modules and FLEXRACK by Qcells solar trackers. Construction begins in Q4 2023. Castillo Engineering optimized equipment costs and voltage drops, while reducing permitting time.
