CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT), sponsored by Singapore's CapitaLand Investment (CLI) with a diversified real estate solutions portfolio has setup its first captive PV power plant of 21 MW in Tamil Nadu, India. The plant producing over 30 million kWh annually and powering 2 million sq ft of office space, leads to a 70% increase in green energy usage and a reduction of 17,000 tonnes in carbon emissions. The solar plant has the potential for an 8 MW further expansion.
