Aseem Infrastructure funds Cleantech Solar

Cleantech Solar has secured an INR 855 crore long-term senior secured loan from Aseem Infrastructure Finance Limited to fund the construction, development, and operations of its open access Commercial and Industrial (C&I) renewable energy portfolio in India. This loan will support approximately 253 MWdc capacity projects across 13 Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) in four states. According to the company, the generated power will be purchased on a captive basis by corporate clients in various sectors, including real estate, automotive, chemical manufacturing, and iron and steel. Cleantech Solar is rapidly expanding its 1.2 GWp portfolio to meet the rising demand for renewable energy solutions.
