Circle K Ireland and EDF Renewables Ireland have announced a new corporate Power Purchase Agreement (cPPA) where three solar farms will supply power to Circle K’s 168 company-owned sites from October 2024 until 2036. These farms, located in Wexford and Kilkenny, have a combined capacity of 17MW and will also power Circle K’s EV charging network. According to Circle K, this transition to solar energy will save an estimated 7,570 tonnes of CO2 annually.
