China-headquartered Trinasolar, a global provider of solar energy solutions, has delivered 1.3 GW of Vertex N solar modules to a solar & storage project in northwestern China. The project was connected to the grid in April 2025. The plant is expected to produce 2.1 billion kWh of electricity each year. It will reduce coal use by 620,000 tons. It will cut CO₂ emissions by 1.61 million tons. The project is built in a desert area. It uses modules that can handle sandstorms and operate efficiently. Trinasolar also provided equipment for other large projects. The sites include in Inner Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Dunhuang and Qinghai. These projects help improve local power supply and support economic development. Recently, Guizhou saw the connection of a 67.5 MW agrivoltaics plant by Trina Solar using Vertex N 720W modules.
