China-based solar company, Trinasolar and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid have opened a Demo Center on the university’s campus in Madrid. It forms part of an ongoing collaboration between the two entities, which began in early 2024. The facility allows students, researchers, and industry representatives to conduct applied testing and technical evaluationin the renewable energy sector. The center provides space for research, training, and testing of solar technologies, including PV modules and solar tracker systems. A similar Demo Center was recently established by Trinasolar in São Paulo, Brazil, as part of its cooperation with academic institutions in different regions.
