China-headquartered Trinasolar, a smart solar energy and storage solutions provider, has opened a demonstration center with the Polytechnic University of Madrid. The facility is set up on the university's Madrid campus. It is part of their alliance from early 2024. The center provides a real-world space for testing solar technologies and joint research. It also supports student training and industry collaboration. Trinasolar’sVertex N modules and solar mounting solutions, including Vanguard trackers, are installed at the site. The project strengthens research links and technology development in solar energy. Trinasolar has also launched a similar center in São Paulo with Facens University as part of its global academic network.
