Tongwei, a China-based solar cell manufacturer, has retained the global top shipment position  in InfoLink’s PV cell shipment ranking for the ninth consecutive year. InfoLink has announced its 2025 annual solar cell shipment ranking, confirming Tongwei’s continued leadership. The research by InfoLink has shown that total shipment volume of the top five suppliers reached approximately 195 GW in 2025. This shipment volume has represented a year-on-year growth of about 19.8% compared to 2024 levels. Tongwei has maintained its leading shipment position throughout the year despite technology route iteration and market competition. Tongwei stated in its release that it has relied on its global channel network and integrated industry chain to support shipments. It has expanded the deployment of TOPCon, HJT, BC, and perovskite or silicon tandem cell and module technologies in international markets.
