China-based PV module manufacturer Astronergy has received the “TaiyangNews Badge of Excellence 2025” for its ASTRO N Series modules. This recognition marks the third consecutive year Astronergy has been awarded under the TaiyangNews excellence framework. The TaiyangNews Badge of Excellence scheme was launched in 2023 and applies to manufacturers ranked within the Top 10 list for at least six months annually. In the Top Solar Modules Analysis Report 2025, ASTRO N Series modules maintained positions in the Top 10 Highest Efficiency Commercial Solar Modules ranking. The evaluation considered commercial execution, product availability, and efficiency progression criteria. The ASTRO N Series incorporates n-type TOPCon solar cell technology, large-size rectangular wafers, light-redirecting film, non-destructive cutting technology, and high-transmittance glass. Astronergy has stated that continued photovoltaic technology research and development remains an ongoing focus. Recently, Astronergy China has launched ASTRO N7 Pro TOPCon modules offering up to 670 W output and 24.8% efficiency.
