China based Suzhou Maxwell Technologies Co., Ltd. has signed its first commercial full-line supply contract for Perovskite/SHJ tandem cell production with a Chinese new energy company in December 2025. The agreement covered equipment for a G12H full-size Perovskite/SHJ tandem cell mass production line. The full-line solution spanned the complete cell manufacturing process and incorporated vacuum deposition, pre-deposition printing, inkjet printing, and plate-type temporal ALD technologies. The solution was intended to support large-size tandem cell manufacturing with automation and process integration. The order indicated a transition of Perovskite/SHJ tandem cell technology from laboratory development to early-stage industrial manufacturing, with production capacity moving toward hundred-megawatt scale.
