China-based Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. has supplied 180 SG350HX inverters for a 70MWp solar power project developed by Solarigo in Simo, Finland. Located just 100 kilometers below the Arctic Circle, the site spans 95 hectares and includes around 120,000 solar panels. The project is supported by PVO International, will operate as a hybrid system alongside existing wind turbines. The inverters include features such as IP66 and C5 protection, smart cooling systems, and are designed to perform reliably in cold and wet environments This follows Sungrow’s earlier 60MWh battery storage deployment in Simo, further strengthening its presence in the Nordic region.
