China-based Sungrow has launched the PowerKeeper series with Ace 007 and Ace Profit for C&I energy storage needs. European C&I users had sought stable and cost-reducing storage as policies strengthened and electricity prices fluctuated. The market was expected to grow by 47 % annually from 2023 to 2030. Sungrow introduced a DC-coupled modular system designed for precise capacity matching and reduced investment waste. The design used 12.5 kWh modules and supported 50-1000 kWh capacity with 2-8 hour duration, with parallel inverters for expansion. The system switched to off-grid mode in 10 milliseconds and used a built-in ATS supporting 250 kW load. Installation was simplified with either single modules or pre-built stacks. The units operated in water depths up to 50 cm and maintained performance across varied climates. Security features included 5D alerts and cell-to-plant protection. Prior to this, TÜV Rheinland confirmed Sungrow’s 1+X 2.0 inverter safety tests in Hefei, showing the company’s continued work on system-level protection and fault management.
