Polyshine Solar, a Chinese solar module manufacturer, has showcased five lightweight PV solutions at the 2025 SNEC PV&ES in Shanghai. The JG-Series modules have used 1.1 mm ultra-thin glass to reduce weight by over 50% and achieved 23.3% efficiency. For industrial rooftops, the modules have reduced structural loads and conformed to curved surfaces with a 0.5 m bending radius. In transport infrastructure, they have been applied to traffic sound barriers, combining noise reduction with power generation. Coastal museum installations have used color-customized modules designed to resist humidity and salt exposure. In agricultural settings like flower markets, double-sided translucent modules have supported both crop lighting and solar capture. Balcony-specific units have allowed single-person installation in under two minutes, enabling accessible residential solar adoption.Polyshine Solar also showcased new PV products at InterSolar Europe.
