North Carolina -headquartered Pine Gate Renewables and Meta signed their fourth renewable purchase agreement for the 210MW Magnolia Solar project in Seguin, Texas. The project is scheduled to begin operations in 2026 and supports Meta’s 100% clean energy goal. Magnolia Solar has joined the Seguin Chamber of Commerce and funded five scholarships through the Independent Cattlemen’s Association of Texas. The project is expected to create hundreds of construction jobs and contribute over $30million in local taxes. It will not strain nearby infrastructure or resources. The partnership expanded Pine Gate and Meta’s joint solar portfolio to more than 500MW. It also enabled over $750million in third-party investments into renewable infrastructure. Both companies confirmed the project aligns with their broader efforts to scale clean power while benefiting host communities.
