China-based PVmodule manufacturer,LONGi has been selected as the exclusive module supplier for the 59 MW solar portion of Cero Generation’s 115 MW Bramley Project.This  marks the United Kingdom’s first use of back contact (BC) solar technology. Scheduled to begin construction in Autumn 2025, the project will deploy LONGi’s Hi-MO 9 modules and Sungrow’s battery storage systems under Metlen’s EPC management. According to LONGi, the Bramley Project introduces its BC technology to the UK market for the first time, featuring 24.8% module efficiency and a -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient. Cero Generation said that the project complies with EU Taxonomy standards and will create over 80 local jobs and contribute £50,000 (≈ $67,000) to a community fund. The initiative is supported by a £200 million (≈ $268 million) green financing package and is the first in Cero Generation’s 360 MW UK co-located portfolio.
