JinkoSolar, headquartered in China, has reported that over 70% of installation work is completed on the 3.9 MW PV and 18 MWh energy storage system project deployed across healthcare sites in Somalia. As per JinkoSolar, key installations, including PV modules, Sungiga ESS units, battery racks, and hybrid inverters, have been completed. Structural and energy storage system works were finalized earlier, and current tasks involve electrical cabling and commissioning. JinkoSolar has noted that final terminations, system testing, and site handovers are scheduled next. The project aims to supply stable electricity to multiple medical facilities, with deployment progressing in stages across selected locations.
