JinkoSolar, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has launched dust-resistant modules built on its Tiger Neo 3.0 platform. The new Tiger Neo 3.0 modules deliver a 4-6% power generation gain compared to conventional modules. The design integrates a nano anti-soiling glass coating with a three-dimensional dust-repellent frame structure. The glass coating is anti-static and reduces adhesion of dust and fine sand particles. It is also superhydrophilic and allows moisture to form a water film that removes accumulated dust. Under sunlight exposure, photocatalytic reactions break down bird droppings and oil residues on the module surface. The coating has been factory-tempered to maintain durability under outdoor climatic conditions. The module frame keeps the short-side parallel to the front glass to prevent dust entrapment.
