JinkoSolar, a China-based global supplier of PV products and ESS solutions, has confirmed a new world record cell efficiency. The achieved n-type TOPCon-based perovskite tandem cell efficiency measured 34.76%. This breakthrough has been certified by the National PV Metric and Testing Center, surpassing the previous record of 34.22%. This achievement marks the company's thirty-second world record for module power and cell efficiency. This result is directly attributed to systematic innovation in perovskite and tandem technologies. Key enhancements include a self-developed high-efficiency n-type TOPCon bottom cell, perovskite bottom interface defect passivation and novel perovskite crystallization techniques, according to JinkoSolar. Recently, JinkoSolar has signed a 300 MW Tiger Neo 3.0 supply deal with DMM in Japan.
