Huasun New Energy, a China-based manufacturer of heterojunction PV modules, has received second prize at innovation competition. The award was presented during the Solar Photovoltaic Track of the third Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition. Finals were held in Suzhou and were organized by the Industrial Development and Promotion Center under Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). According to the announcement, recognition was granted for the company’s HJT 2000 V champion module project. Judges assessed the module for technical performance and industrialization value during the final evaluation stage. According to Huasun New Energy, the HJT 2000 V module uses proprietary encapsulation to address high-voltage insulation and reduce balance-of-system costs. The competition, as per the MIIT organizers, serves as a national platform for evaluating technological innovation in China’s energy electronics sector.
