Huasun, headquartered in China, has completed Pakistan’s largest captive rooftop solar project at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited, totaling 18.7 MW. The system is equipped with G12-132 heterojunction (HJT) solar modules featuring zero-busbar (0BB) technology. Each module delivers 730 W output and achieves 23.5 % conversion efficiency, enhancing generation for industrial operations. According to Huasun’s Director for the Middle East and Pakistan, Rana Farhan Qurban, the country has seen rapid adoption of high-efficiency HJT technology across the commercial and industrial sectors. He said the project reflected the growing demand for advanced solar systems supporting energy transition. The installation was part of Pakistan’s broader effort to expand reliable on-site renewable generation.
