China-based solar technology company, Huasun Energy, using its HJT modules, has supported a 100 MW agrivoltaic project in Gaomi, China. The facility is connected to the grid following phased construction completed by October 2024. The project integrates solar power generation with agriculture and is expected to produce 140 million kWh annually, cut approximately 100,000 tons of carbon emissions, and generate around RMB 6.5 million in yearly tax revenue. Huasun supplied its G12 Himalaya HJT bifacial modules rated at 730 W with 23.5% efficiency and 95% bifaciality, enabling both construction phases to be completed within one month of order. The company also introduced Kunlun vertical HJT modules designed for improved land-use efficiency, wind resistance, and environmental benefits in agrivoltaic settings.
