DMEGC Solar, a China-based PV module manufacturer, has commissioned a 4.3 MW C&I rooftop PV project in China. The system uses lightweight PV modules and has been installed at an engineering vehicle equipment manufacturing facility in Hangzhou. The deployment is expected to generate approximately 4.82 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to reducing approximately 2,752 tons of CO2 emissions. Power generated from the system is primarily consumed on-site, with surplus electricity exported to the grid. The lightweight modules reduce weight by 44% compared to traditional modules of the same size. The project owner is projected to save more than RMB 3.2 million (~ $0.45 million) annually in electricity costs. Recently, DMEGC Solar has launched the INFINITY RT G12RT-G48HBB full-black rooftop module with 475 W output and PFAS-free production.
