China-based PV module manufacturer, Astronergy has installed a total of 6.8 MW of ASTRO N7 bifacial solar modules across two industrial sites in Punjab & Pakistan. According to Astronergy, CA Textile Mills received a 5.5 MW system while Ali Akbar Spinning Mills was equipped with a 1.3 MW array. Both installations have utilized the ASTRO N7 modules, which feature a temperature coefficient of -0.29 % per °C, enabling stable energy output during high ambient heat conditions. Astronergy stated that the enhanced bifaciality of ASTRO N7 modules has helped increase backside power generation, improving overall yield for both mills. The technology is designed to support continuous industrial operations by maintaining consistent energy supply. These projects reflect ongoing commercial adoption of high-efficiency bifacial modules in high-temperature industrial zones.
