Arctech LATAM, Chinese solar tracker manufacturer, has supplied 150 MW of SkyLine II solar trackers to major utility-scale projects in Chile. The delivery of the SkyLine II tracker systems has supported many solar projects across northern and central regions with complex terrain and high wind exposure. According to Arctech, the SkyLine II system has been designed to operate efficiently on steep, uneven landscapes, allowing tracker structures to follow natural land contours and reduce earthworks and site preparation requirements. The company stated that its multi-point parallel drive system has improved structural stability and operational reliability under high-wind conditions common at several project sites. The tracker installations have enabled consistent tracking performance, supported optimized energy generation. These trackers reduce technical risks across varied layouts, reflecting continued growth of utility-scale solar development within Chile’s power market.
