China based Aiko Solar was listed in the Wood Mackenzie Grade A photovoltaic module manufacturers ranking for H1 2025. The assessment has covered 38 module manufacturers from nine countries, accounting for 62 % of global production capacity and 75 % of shipments. As per Wood Mackenzie, the ranking evaluated bankability, scale and technology factors, including capacity utilization, financial stability, supply-chain resilience, vertical integration and R&D capability. Aiko Solar was assessed based on manufacturing reliability and technology maturity indicators. The company had deployed ABC cell technology and achieved GW-level production of N-type BC modules. Cumulative shipments of ABC modules exceeded 20 GW. The modules were supplied across residential, commercial, and utility-scale segments. The listing reflected performance-based evaluation criteria applied during the reporting period. Earlier this year, as per TaiyangNews, the company recorded a module efficiency of 24.8 %, placing it first in the TaiyangNews PV Module Ranking.
