AIKO reunites with Brunel Solar Team for 2025 BWSC race in Australia

China-based solar technology company, AIKO and the Brunel Solar Team, aSolar-racing team has reunited their partnership for the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia. The partnership follows their joint participation in the 2024 Sasol Solar Challenge in South Africa. For the 2025 race, they will use AIKO’s N-Type ABC solar cells, which offer 27.2% mass-production efficiency and are designed for conditions involving heat, low light, and road stress. The event will cover a 3,000-kilometer route from Darwin to Adelaide. AIKO’s local team in Australia will support technical operations during the race, focusing on the field integration and performance monitoring of the solar cell system.
