Catalyze has completed a solar and storage project at 66 Galen Street in Watertown, Massachusetts. The building, owned by Davis and Boston Development Group, is a 224,106 square-foot Class A life science facility. Featuring modern offices and laboratories, the LEED Gold certified building now utilizes a 252 kW solar and 125 kW storage system, along with EV charging stations. This initiative aligns with Watertown’s Climate and Energy Plan, requiring 50% solar roof coverage on new and substantially renovated buildings over 10,000 square feet. Catalyze’s participation in the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) program has supported this endeavor, providing incentives for solar projects in Massachusetts.
