BW Solar has sold 12 community solar projects in New York with a total capacity of 76.7 MW to Catalyze. The portfolio includes six pre-construction projects (38.2 MW) and six early-stage development projects (38.5 MW). Catalyze intends to employ inventive strategies such as utilizing an all-terrain tracker for a project scheduled for construction this summer. Specifically designed to negotiate the rugged terrain of a steep, undulating hill, this tracker minimizes the necessity for extensive site grading, thereby cutting down on construction expenses and lessening environmental disturbance. Commercial operation of the notice-to-proceed ready projects is anticipated between 2024 and 2025.
