Canadian Solar Inc. announces a 5 GW solar PV wafer facility in Chonburi, Thailand, launching in March 2024. The plant will produce N-type wafers for the existing Thailand TOPCon cell manufacturing plant and later supply the 5 GW U.S. cell factory in Jeffersonville, Indiana, from 2025.
