Yellow Door Energy, a provider of solar and energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial businesses across the Middle East and Africa, has installed a 2 MW solar plant at SIG Group’s packaging facility. The system included over 3,200 solar panels and generated around 3.5 million kWh of electricity annually. The project operated through a solar lease model, which provided cost savings and reduced carbon emissions.It supported Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s Net Zero by 2060 goal.
