Waaree Energies secures ‘A’ rating in PV Tech bankability ranking

PV Tech has awarded Waaree Energies an ‘A’ rating, making Waaree, the first Indian PV manufacturer recognized for financial stability and technological excellence.

Mumbai-based Waaree Energies is India's first solar PV manufacturer to earn an ‘A’ rating in PV Tech’s Bankability ranking for its financial and tech excellence. Waaree has an estimated global installed capacity of approximately 15 GW for PV modules. Its manufacturing operations include 1.3 GW from Indosolar and an additional 1.6 GW capacity in Texas, USA. The company also operates a 1.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility, with expansion plans that could increase capacity up to 5.4 GW. To ensure quality and efficiency, Waaree operates a NABL-accredited PV Module Test Laboratory in Chikhli. The company’s use of TOPCon and HJT technology contributes to the development of high-efficiency solar solutions. With operations spanning across India and more than 25 countries, Waaree is engaged in multiple aspects of the solar energy sector, including panel manufacturing, EPC services, project development, and rooftop systems.
