Volta Polska, an independent renewable energy producer, is planning to develop a 40 MW solar power project in the town of Łobżenica. The project will be implemented under Poland’s Integrated Investment Plan (ZPI) framework. The system is designed to facilitate cooperation between private investors and local governments for renewable energy development. The Łobżenica City Council approved the plan on March 31, 2025, after an agreement was signed on February 26 by Volta Polska’s CEO and the town’s mayor. The project will cover 54 hectares of land. Legal support came from CCLaw, and Michał Konera from EnronOne helped with planning discussions. Volta Polska also plans to develop a wind energy project in the area using the same ZPI approach.
