Valfortec, a Castellón-based renewable energy company, presented its new expansion plan at the Energy Global Event & Congress Fair in Valencia. The announcement was made during a corporate session organized with Avaesen and the Valencian Community Energy Cluster. CEO Fidel Roig and Link Securities’ capital markets director Carlos Báñez outlined the second investment vehicle, which was set to close in two weeks. The plan covered national and international photovoltaic projects, including new entry into Italy and multiple installations along Spain’s Mediterranean coast and Mallorca. Roig said the vehicle would support more than 70 MW across Spain and Italy with over €50 million invested. A roundtable later detailed project locations in Abruzzo and Lombardy, with eight Italian parks planned, three already under construction. Panel members discussed diversification, operational stability, and Valfortec’s long-term sector track record.
