Madrid-based Univergy Solar is developing the Casa del Príncipe solar plant in La Roda, Albacete. The project has a planned peak capacity of 0.54MW and uses 1,216 bifacial modules, each rated at 450W. Module installation was completed recently, marking significant construction progress. The project has now moved into the civil works phase. This stage includes groundwork and site infrastructure, advancing the plant toward operational readiness. The completion of module assembly has allowed the project to meet a key milestone on schedule. The use of bifacial modules is expected to improve energy yield under site conditions. Univergy Solar continues to coordinate the next phases of development, including grid connection and commissioning. The Casa del Príncipe plant is part of the company’s broader effort to expand distributed solar capacity across the region.
