Greentech, a Hamburg-based solar and storage provider, has completed a 70.4 MW ground-mounted solar park in Wiesenhagen, for Trianel, The municipal utility cooperation. The project became Trianel’s largest commissioned solar facility to date. The park spans 48 hectares. It includes over 1 lac Trina modules, Huawei inverters, and transformer stations. It connects to the grid through Trianel’s own nearby substation. The project raised Trianel’s total solar capacity in Brandenburg to over 165 MW. It is enough to supply more than 51,000 households. Careful electrical planning using PowerFactory helped streamline the design and certification process. The companies also have additional joint projects planned for later in the year. Greentech has inaugurated three solar parks in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, totaling over 100 MW.
