Rizal Green Energy Corporation (RGEC), a Philippines-based renewable energy developer under the Yuchengco Group, has announced the completion of the grid connection for its 40-megawatt-direct-current (MWDC) Limbauan Solar Power Project in Isabela on October 25 2025. The project, developed through RGEC’s operating unit BKS Green Energy Corporation (BKSGEC), consists of two phases—a 6 MWDC Phase 1 embedded in the Isabela Electric Cooperative’s distribution system and a 34 MWDC Phase 2 connected to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines’ 69-kilovolt Tuguegarao–Cabangan line. According to BKSGEC, construction was completed in August, and grid linkage was achieved with Harmonics System Inc. after receiving NGCP’s provisional approval. The project now awaits NGCP’s energization clearance before commencing testing and delivery to the Luzon grid.
