China-based TCL Solar and Solar Electric Vietnam JSC (SEV) have set up a 2.2 MW rooftop solar system in northern Vietnam. They used 3,048 TCL 715 W panels along with Huawei SUN2000-100KTL-M2 inverters. The project used high-wattage modules to improve roof space utilization and reduce string counts. The inverters provided multi-MPPT operation, real-time monitoring, and standard protection features. The system generated an estimated 2.94 GWh each year and reduced about 2,410 tons of COâ‚‚ annually. The installation lowered grid reliance, supported manufacturing operations, and met supply-chain requirements.
