Sunview Group Berhad, a Malaysia-based solar EPCC company, has agreed to acquire a large-scale PV asset involving a 50 MW AC solar plant located at Pekan in Pahang. The solar plant was awarded under Malaysia’s LSS4 programme and was developed by PKNP Reneuco. Sunview has agreed to acquire the asset for MYR 70 million through its indirect subsidiary, SAM 2. As of September 2025, the solar plant was estimated to be 79% completed.The project occupies approximately 230.5 acres of leasehold land situated within Pekan, Pahang. The acquisition was announced on December 29, 2025, and was structured as a conditional sale agreement. Commercial operations are expected to commence during the fourth quarter of 2026 following project completion.
