Sunsure Energy has signed a long-term round-the-clock hybrid renewable energy agreement with Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. for the supply of 19.36 MW of combined solar and wind power. The supply includes 8.86 MW (13.29 MWp) of solar energy from Dhule and 10.5 MW of wind energy from Jath, both in Maharashtra. The hybrid energy will power DFPCL’s Raigad facility and is expected to generate 5.5 crore units annually. This output could reduce DFPCL’s carbon footprint by over 40,000 tons of COâ‚‚ each year. Sunsure’s Founder and CEO, Shashank Sharma, stated that the project presents the sunsure’s capability to provide round-the-clock renewable energy solutions. DFPCL’s Manufacturing President, Pandurang Landge, has said the partnership enhances operational reliability and supports the company’s energy transition goals.
