Sunrun reports Q4 2024 financial results with customer growth

Sunrun, a solar company based in San Francisco, has released its Q4 and full-year 2024 financial results, reflecting mixed performance. The company has reported $518.5 million in Q4 revenue, showing a slight increase from the previous year. Revenue from customer agreements has risen 21% to $388.6 million, while solar system sales have dropped 33% to $129.9 million, due to a shift toward subscription-based models. Sunrun has posted a net loss of $2.8 billion, but its pro-forma non-GAAP net income has been reported at $360.9 million, or $1.41 per diluted share. The company has added 32,932 new customers in Q4, bringing its total customer base to over one million, with the majority being subscribers. According to company guidance, Sunrun has projected cash generation between $40 million and $50 million for Q1 2025.
