Netherland-based Sunrock in partnership with Frasers Property Industrial by adding five new rooftop photovoltaic systems totaling 16.5 MW across Germany. The installations in Günzburg, Egelsbach, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Duisburg, and Bergheim joined earlier projects in Düsseldorf and Vaihingen an der Enz, bringing the combined capacity to 26.9 MW. The facility covering 281,600 sqm of rooftop area with nearly 60,000 modules, the systems were designed to generate about 26,000 MWh of electricity annually and cut more than 11,600 tons of CO₂. Sunrock owns and operates the systems, leasing roof spaces and supplying power to tenants. The projects featured location-specific designs such as glare-free modules near airports and green roof integrations. The collaboration emphasized upgrading existing industrial properties by assessing roof integrity and electrical infrastructure for solar readiness. Earlier this year, Sunrock partnered with Panattoni to install a 7.1 MW rooftop solar PV system in Germany.
