During COP30 in Belém, Statkraft, Oslo-based renewable energy company has inaugurated three solar and hybridpower plants in Brazil. The first two facilities, Morro do Cruzeiro Solar with 76 MWp capacity and Santa Eugênia Solar 198 MWp capacity, were launched in Bahia, followed by the Serrita Solar project of capacity 69 MWp in Pernambuco. Together, these three plants will have a combined capacity of 340 MWp. Statkraft has reported that the solar installations are expected to produce nearly 789 GWh of clean energy annually. This power generation will contribute to reduction in 1,11,000 tons of CO₂ emissions. When combined with related wind assets, the total estimated annual generation reaches 3,400 GWh
