Spain-based Soltec, a company specializing in photovoltaic solutions, signed the Mundo Novo project with Polimix Energia in Brazil. The plant is situated at São Miguel do Gostoso, Rio Grande do Norte and had an installed capacity of 41 MW. It aimed to deliver clean energy to more than 10,000 households and prevent over 89,000 tons of CO₂ emissions. Soltec supplied its SFOneX Dual-Row trackers, which minimized the number of piles and components to enable quicker installation. This project marked the first use of the SFOneX design. In 2024, Soltec has launched the 4x4 system for its SFOne solar tracker.
