Solarvest Holdings Berhad, through its subsidiary Atlantic Blue, has secured Brunei’s largest solar PV project. The project is developed via joint venture Seri Suria Power (B) SdnBhd with Serikandi Oilfield Services and Khazanah Satu. The 30 MW plant is planned on a 33.29-hectare remediated landfill in Kampong Belimbing, with construction set for Q3 2025 and completion by end-2026. It is expected to produce 64.47 million kWh annually, offsetting 645,000 MMBtu (Million British Thermal Units) of gas and 92 million tons of CO₂ emissions. Three agreements were signed on 14 June 2025, including a 25-year power purchase agreement and a land lease with Brunei’s government. The project supports Brunei’s 2030 goals of 30% renewable energy and 20% GHG reduction. The completed 29.99MW AC CGPP solar project in Kedah by Solarvest and Shizen Malaysia builds on their regional solar development efforts, including Brunei.
