Solarvest, Malaysia’s clean energy solutions provider, was awarded an RM 320 million EPCC contract under Malaysia’s LSS5 programme by Wawasan Demi Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of AIZO Group Berhad. The contract covers a 99.99 MW (AC) floating solar project planned in Kampar, Perak. The plant is scheduled to start commercial operation on 30 October 2027. Solarvest said that the facility is expected to generate 205,709 MWh of electricity each year. The company also said the output is estimated to offset about 159,219 tons of CO₂ annually. The contract has increased Solarvest’s confirmed order book, which was reported at RM 1.6 billion. Solarvest stated that the project has marked another large-scale floating installation in its portfolio. The company noted that the award has supported its ongoing activity in Malaysia’s solar sector.
