Solar Alliance Energy Inc., a Canada-based solar provider, has reported an unaudited Q1 2025 net loss of CAD 474,277 (~$346,222) on revenue of CAD 835,609 (~$609,996). Revenue was down from CAD 1,604,326 (~$1,171,159) in Q1 2024, and the company recorded an operating loss of CAD 470,548 (~$343,500) compared to a prior operating income of CAD 134,744 (~$98,364). Solar Alliance said it ended the quarter with CAD 13,111 (~$9,573) in cash, up slightly from a starting balance of CAD 9,697 (~$7,078). The company generated CAD 191,264 (~$139,623) in cash from operations but received no cash from investing or financing activities. Working capital was reported at a surplus of CAD 654,988 (~$478,141), improving from a CAD 938,344 (~$684,990) deficit in Q1 2024. Solar Alliance stated that cash flow remains insufficient for ongoing operations and that external funding may be needed to support continuity.
