SK Eternix, a South Korean renewable energy company, has signed a direct power purchase agreement (PPA) on June 2 to supply 40 MW of solar energy. The contract was made with a major Korean corporation participating in the RE100 initiative. The agreement covers energy supply from 2028 to 2035, with a total value of KRW 203 billion (~$147.58 million). Electricity will be delivered through Solarnix 2, a special purpose company co-invested by SK Eternix and a fund. Solarnix 2 owns 65 solar plants, each under 3 MW. This followed a previous PPA signed under Solarnix 1 in November 2023. SK Eternix has developed a portfolio including solar, wind, ESS, and fuel cells, and has expanded its power brokerage operations.
