Shell Energy Philippines, Inc. (SEPH) has signed a 15-year Power Supply Agreement with Greenlight Renewables Holdings, Inc. through San Isidro Solar Power Corp. for electricity from a 120 MW ground-mounted solar farm in Leyte. This PSA was the first signed after Emerging Power Inc. and Shell Overseas Investments B.V. created their joint venture. Phase 1 of the San Isidro Solar Power Project was planned to start operating in the second quarter of 2026. The project was expected to increase available solar capacity in the Visayas region.SEPH said the deal supported its retail supply operations, while Greenlight said the project advanced its development plans. Greenlight, a joint venture of EPI and SOIBV, completed Phase 1, which was under testing and commissioning and supplying initial output to the grid. SEPH planned to sell the electricity to commercial and industrial customers.
